Gaza First Aid Kits

What: The team of Follow the Women for Peace in Jordan and MEDAL Consult want to support the people in Gaza by collecting and sending First Aid Kits to families in refugee camps and remote areas to enable them to help themselves, at least in a small way. May God protect them!

This is one of many different initiatives and collective solidarity efforts taking place in this generous country. We hope that our first aid kits will reach needy families in Gaza fast to make them feel less helpless. Facing the worst conditions imaginable, families are extremely vulnerable and often cannot reach medical facilities for professional help. Equipped with First Aid Kits (including First Aid instructions) family members can treat wounds/burns immediately, ease pain and prevent the worsening of conditions.

How will they reach the needy in Gaza? We have confirmation that ARAMEX will pick up the Kits from our collection point and deliver them to the Higher Commission of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization who will inspect the contents and request ARAMEX to send the aid directly to the Gaza border where the UNWRA and the Red Crescent take charge and distribute them directly to the needy in Gaza.

How can you help?
Collecting needed items, complete kits or cash donations to be spent on needed items for the first aid kits will start from Monday, January 5th - until Monday January 12. 4:00 p.m. We appreciate advance notice of any support you can provide to avoid duplication, and reach our goal.

Option one: Donate /Purchase as many of the complete First Aid set/s as you can including the above items, and deliver them to our collecting point: Madina street, Jumira Complex (1) – building # 245, office # 305.

Option two: We have contacted pharmaceutical producers to either donate specific items or sell needed items to us at factory costs. We appreciate any amount you can contribute (each big size kit would cost 20 JD) so we meet our goal. Contribute to the cost of the number of kits you want to purchase, and we will prepare your kit/s and send them to GAZA.
